Marybeth Dadd received a bachelor of arts degree from Niagara University in secondary education/social studies, a master of science degree from the University of Albany in curriculum development and instructional technology, and a graduate certificate from Duquesne University in supervision of curriculum and instruction. She worked as a seventh-, 10th-, and 11th-grade social studies teacher in New York, North Carolina, and Massachusetts before moving to Pittsburgh in 2007. She currently works as a supervisor of student teachers at Duquesne University.
Ms. Dadd lives in O'Hara Township with her husband and two daughters. She spends some of her free time volunteering at O'Hara Elementary School and Dorseyville Middle School. Her family loves to travel and spend time in the outdoors, especially with their 2-year-old black Lab, Olive.
