Two events are planned at Fox Chapel Area High School to help acquaint the Class of 2023 with their new school.
Freshman Orientation Tuesday, Aug. 20 12:45–3:30 p.m., high school auditorium
Freshman orientation will begin with students receiving their schedule of classes for the fall semester. After a brief session in the auditorium, students will follow an abbreviated version of their first day of school schedule. They also will be able to find their locker, meet their teachers, see their classrooms, and learn more about the courses they will be taking. Buses will be provided from the following locations for students who need transportation to and from orientation. Please be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes early, as these times are approximate:
Freshman Parent Night Tuesday, Aug. 20 7–8:30 p.m., high school auditorium
This evening will help parents of our incoming freshmen to better understand Fox Chapel Area High School and what to anticipate during the next four years. Freshman students can attend parent night; however, it is not required. The session also will include an explanation of school expectations, procedures, academics, support services, clubs, activities, athletics, and other important information.
