FCAHS Students Place in Regional FBLA Competition
Several Fox Chapel Area High School students placed in the 2021 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Virtual Regional Leadership Conference and many qualified for the state competition. Fox Chapel Area first-place regional winners were seniors Alexa Berman, Noah Bradley, Isabella Geraci, Thomas Healy, Alaina Kaslewicz, Sydney Kennedy, Paris Wohlgemuth, Alex Zatman, and Ryan Zatman; juniors Emilia Cody, Katherine Jenkins, Cali Johnson, Paul Kullmann, Nathania Lingam, Scarlett Luden, and Stephen Santilli; sophomores Joshua Brown, Evelyn Healy, Whitney Jones, Henry Koloc, Harry Littwin, and Troy Susnak; and freshmen Baustin Bitar, Ridglee Boychuk, Molly Delaney, and Kai Edwards. Second-place regional winners were seniors William Burger, William Cooper, Mia Krushansky, Delaney Miller, Luke Murray, Carter Rowe, Ashish Subedi, and Siddharth Yende; juniors Helia Hamidi and Alexandra Solomon; sophomores Lexi Biernesser, Carolyn Caracciolo, Leanora Carson, Iris Doty, Julia Hernaez, Tess Petrucelli, and Dylan Work; and freshmen Caleb Adams, William Apitsch, Abigail Oxford, and Nicholas Patel. Third-place regional winners were seniors Carlie Barnett, Elia Gillespie, Olivia Guerrieri, Margo Levenson, and Zoe Skirboll; juniors Aura Chuck Hernandez, Mia Nury, and Colin Westerberg; sophomores Isaac Jacobs, William Kratsa, Safiyyah Muhina, Angela Ngo, and Kieu Uyen “Heidi” Tong; and freshman Jackson Hagler. Fourth-place finishers were seniors Brooke Bowman and Louise Coleman; juniors Donay Allen, Aisling Beresford, Mercer Murton, and Zachary Sullivan; sophomores Jayne Dye and Katherine Friday; and freshman Anna Mohn. Other state qualifiers included juniors Maya Bradley and Diya Reddy; sophomores Maria Costantino, Adam Ferris, Ava McCaffrey, and Andrea Motschman; and freshmen Kellan Bleier, Nathan Mackey, Isaac Moser, and Swati Mylarappa. All of these students have qualified to participate in the 2022 FBLA State Leadership Conference that will be held virtually and in person in Hershey, Pennsylvania, April 11-13.
Other regional third-place winners at the conference included freshmen Megan Delaney, Kennedy Murton, and Natalie Patel.
The FBLA Virtual Regional Leadership Conference was held in December 2021 and January 2022. Approximately 400 students from schools from 13 districts participated in the regional competition.
