Fox Chapel Area Schools Ranked Among Best in State

U.S. News & World Report has, for the first time ever, announced Best K-8 Schools rankings. The 2022 rankings include state-level data on more than 80,000 public elementary and middle schools from across the country. 

At Fox Chapel Area, all four elementary schools were ranked in the top 5% of all elementary schools in Pennsylvania. Dorseyville Middle School placed in the top 2% of all middle schools in the state. In the state, 1,752 elementary schools and 939 middle schools were ranked.

“I want to congratulate the students, staff, parents/guardians, and others who helped us attain these remarkable rankings,” says Superintendent Dr. Mary Catherine Reljac. “It’s wonderful that even those outside the district recognize the hard work and diligence that take place in our schools every single day. 

U.S. News & World Report also ranks high schools, and those 2022 rankings have not yet been released.
