School Resource Officer

Eric Valentine

Officer Eric Valentine is a school resource officer at Fairview Elementary School, where he monitors the building, campus, students, and staff, in addition to assisting with daily school activities. This year, Officer Valentine will have completed his fourth year as a school resource officer, having served at all levels of education from kindergarten through grade 12. Prior to becoming a school resource officer, Officer Valentine was a Pennsylvania State Police trooper and retired after 25 years of service. He enjoys the daily interaction of working in the school environment, especially at the elementary level. “Every day is a good day working in an elementary school," Officer Valentine says.
