Fox Chapel Area High School's 2019 homecoming football game will be played at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2019, against the Armstrong River Hawks at the high school stadium. Admission is $3 for students, $5 for adults, and free for district senior citizens who have a Gold Card.
The Fox Chapel Area Community Carnival will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday on the front lawn and upper field at the high school. Activities will include games, a giant slide, bouncy houses, a petting zoo, pony rides, live music from students and faculty members, and a fleet of food trucks.
This year’s homecoming theme is “All Things Disney,” and the freshmen, sophomore, junior, and senior classes will continue the tradition of performing their annual skits at 6 p.m. in the stadium. The homecoming king and queen, and skit winners will be announced during halftime.
The members of the 2019 Fox Chapel Area High School Homecoming Court are seniors Carina Albrecht, Paige Asbury, Sam Brown, Joe Johnson, Casey Lazear, Ben Peterson, Emily Scheffler, and Sina Shaikh. The homecoming court attendants are juniors Alexis Austin and Garrett Bradley, sophomores Jordan Gwin and Mira Tramontina, andfreshmen Kate Jenkins and Santino Pistella.
Members of the community are encouraged to bring a snack item to donate for the district’s Backpack for Hunger program and All of Us Care for its after-school program. The collection is being done by the Fox Chapel Educators Association.
All homecoming activities are coordinated and sponsored by the Fox Chapel Area High School Student Government.
Parking will be available at the high school, and there will be overflow parking at O’Hara Elementary School. A shuttle will run from O'Hara to the high school.
