FCAHS Students Selected to Honors Choirs
Several Fox Chapel Area High School students were chosen for Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) choirs.
Seniors Claire Kinst and Kristopher Pizzella, and junior Alaina OKunewick were selected to the PMEA District 1 Choir, which featured students from Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland counties. The festival concert was hosted by Canon-McMillan High School January 26.
In addition, Kristopher and Alaina were selected to the PMEA Region 1 Choir. The choral group included approximately 160 of the best singers from school districts throughout Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Lawrence, Mercer, Washington, and Westmoreland counties. The Region I Choir concert was held March 8 at Mars Area High School.
