Community Resources Available to Those in Need

We'd like to share some community resources available to families in the Fox Chapel Area School District who may be in need.

Please remember that our principals and school counselors are always available to support families who need resources or emergency assistance.

Fox Chapel Area School District

  • Free breakfast is available for all students in our buildings every school day.

  • Students at Hartwood and Kerr elementary schools receive free lunches every school day. If your child is a student at any other Fox Chapel Area school, and you may qualify for free or reduced-price lunches, please visit https://www.fcasd.edu/about-us/food-services/free-and-reduced-lunch.

  • All of the district's schools have access to resources such as take-home food bags, toiletries, emergency clothing, and more.

  • As a reminder, Care Solace provides access to social services resources at no cost for the members of our school community. Care Solace can coordinate services and referrals to community-based social services, including free or reduced-cost dental care, medical services, housing, food, and other resources available through local providers and organizations.
