High School Mobile Fab Lab Featured in Publication
Fox Chapel Area School District’s mobile Fab Lab is featured in “Space to Learn,” a publication by Remake Learning. The publication is a resource for providing ideas and inspiration for innovative ways to transform learning spaces. During the 2016-2017 school year, Fox Chapel Area High School students built a Fab Lab in a tiny house. The Fab Lab is on a trailer base and is a mobile makerspace that can be taken to other schools in the area where students may not have access to a Fab Lab. The mobile lab includes CNC machines, 3D printers, laser engravers, vinyl cutters, and more.
