Students Place at Upper St. Clair Novice Forensic Tournament
Six Fox Chapel Area High School students recently placed at the annual Upper St. Clair Novice Forensic Tournament. The Policy Debate team of sophomore Mark Puthenpurayil and freshman Nathaniel Mueller won second place. Sixth place awards went to the team of senior Jonah Green and junior Jonathan Rodrigues in Public Forum Debate, and sophomore Suparna Agrawal in Extemporaneous Speaking. Seventh place was awarded to freshman Siddharth Yende in Lincoln Douglas Debate.
The Upper St. Clair Novice Forensic Tournament was held October 27, 2018, at Fort Couch Middle School. More than 240 students from 23 schools from Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio competed at the tournament.
