Fox Chapel Area Homecoming 2018

The Fox Chapel Area High School 2018 Homecoming Football Game will be played Friday, September 28, 2018. The Fox Chapel Area High School Foxes will play the Upper Saint Clair High School Panthers at 7 p.m. at the Fox Chapel Area High School Stadium (the James M. Burk Athletic Facility).

The high school will be hosting the Fox Chapel Area Community Carnival on the front lawn/upper field of the Fox Chapel Area High School campus. The carnival will be held from 4-7 p.m. and most activities are free, unless otherwise indicated. Activities will include games, a giant slide, and bouncy houses. There will also be a free petting zoo (including a baby zebra and camel) and the baby animals can be fed for a small cost. Pony rides will be available for a small fee. Live music from the students and faculty will also be featured during the carnival and there will be food trucks where attendees can purchase food.

This year’s homecoming theme is “A Night at the Movies” and the freshmen, sophomore, junior, and senior classes will continue the tradition of performing their annual skits in the stadium prior to the game at 6 p.m. The homecoming king and queen will be crowned and the skit winners will be announced during halftime.

Parking will be available at Fox Chapel Area High School, and overflow parking will be at O’Hara Elementary School. O’Hara Elementary is just a short walk away from the high school and is located at 115 Cabin Lane in O’Hara Township, and there will also be a shuttle running from O’Hara Elementary to the high school.

The members of the 2018 Fox Chapel Area High School Homecoming Court are seniors Emily Ben, Justin Breen, Hannah Flanders, Kristen Friday, Michael Kilmer, Sadie Lorence, Mitchell Miles, and Jeremy Platt. The homecoming court attendants are juniors Ben Peterson and Emily Scheffler, sophomores Vivian Shao and Ben Siri, and freshmen Luca Pistella and Anna Szymanski.

Members of the community are also encouraged to bring a snack item to donate for the district’s Backpack for Hunger program and All of Us Care for their after-school program. The collection is being done by the Fox Chapel Educators Association.

All members of the community are invited to attend the homecoming game festivities. Admission to the game is $3 for students and $5 for adults. Admission is free for district senior citizens who have a Gold Card.

All homecoming activities are coordinated and sponsored by the Fox Chapel Area High School Student Government. Fox Chapel Area High School is located at 611 Field Club Road in O’Hara Township.
