Grades and Attendance

The "Grades and Attendance" tab displays information about a student's grades and attendance for the current quarter. The legend at the bottom of the page displays the attendance codes and their meanings. Grades and Attendance information is best viewed by accessing the parent portal via a web browser. The mobile application does not have all of the features of the browser version. Please note: K-2 students do not receive traditional overall grades and students in grades 3-5 receive traditional grades in selected courses. A grade mark of [i] indicates that no grade has been assigned to the course for a given quarter.

In order to print quarter grades and attendance: Select the printer icon in the upper right hand corner of the window.

In order to view detailed grade information by quarter including teacher comments, assignment information, and section details: Click on a grade in the quarter column.
Course Information

In order to view detailed attendance information by quarter: Click on a number in an attendance column. A blank value indicates there were no absences.
Attendance Information

The Class Score Details view provides more information on your student’s assessment information for a given quarter such as assignment scores, teacher comments, and section descriptions. Clicking on a grade in the Grades and Attendance tab allows you to access the score detail information.

In order to print the class score detail view: Select the printer icon in the upper right hand corner of the window.

Many teachers use assignment categories in order to organize student work. Assignment categories are listed on this page. Categories can be weighted at the teacher’s discretion. A dash “-“ indicates that a category is not weighted.

The Standards Grades tab in the PowerSchool Parent Portal is where you can view the standards grades for your K-5 student by course. This tab is not visible for 6-12 students. Standard grades are best viewed by accessing the Parent Portal via a web browser. The mobile application does not have all of the features of the browser version. By default, all of the standards are collapsed under the student’s course and you see the courses and standards for the current school year. You can expand or collapse standards by selecting the triangle to the left of the course name or by selecting the “Expand All” of “Collapse All” buttons. You may view prior year’s standards grades by select the “Year” drop-down menu.

In order to print standard grades:

1. Select the “Expand All” button.
2. Select the printer icon in the upper right hand corner of the window.  

In order to view the grade key: select “School Bulletin” from the navigation window. (K-5 students only)
