Whistleblower Reporting

Overview

The Board of Directors of the Fox Chapel Area School District requires that Fox Chapel Area School District employees act with integrity, adhere to ethical standards, and conduct their work with appropriate transparency. These principles allow the district to fulfill its duty to students, staff, and taxpayers, as well as comply with applicable laws and regulations. To that end, the District will maintain procedures through which good faith reports of fraud, financial impropriety, misconduct, or otherwise improper activity may be raised without fear of discrimination, retaliation, or dismissal.

The Board encourages administrative, professional and support employees, as well as independent contractors and agency employees working with the district, to report questionable activities, fraud, financial improprieties, or irregularities, or other misconduct when they reasonably believe that such activities or conduct have occurred or are occurring.
