Student Voices: FC Students Rock the Vote in Executive Branch Elections

The lifeblood of a democracy is the participation of its citizens.

When members of a democratic society vote for the candidates of their choice, they are not merely selecting representatives to govern over them.

Participation in elections is more than simply voting, it means demonstrating trust in the democratic process and in a free and open society as a whole.

While Fox Chapel’s own executive and legislative branch members may not be able to drastically affect change on the economy or solve the pressing foreign policy crises of the day, they play an important role in the administration of the school and represent the feelings of its students.
